Frequently served with a Saffron Risotto, Polenta or Creamed Potato. This cut is best cooked long and slow. The bone is left in and the adds a unique, rich flavour to the dish. Add Carrots, Garlic, 4 veal shanks, 2 tsp herbs d'Provence, Salt, pepper, flour, parsley and grated lemon zest to the slow cooker with beef broth or stock. Cook slowly for 6-8 hours!
