Mangalitsa - The Kobe Beef of Pork
Limited Availability - Marbled Mangalitsa Pork has been called the Kobe Beef of pork. Just like Kobe Beef it's slow growth and fat marbling adds an unrivalled flavour to the meat. It is darker in colour, and takes almost three times as long as lean pink pigs to mature. Mangalitza pork is prized in Charcuterie and Fine Dining, and is a luxury choice for Home Smoking and BBQ Pulled Pork. Cured 'Lardo' (back fat) is an Italian Delicacy and Crispy Roast Potatoes cooked in our Mangalitsa Lard will rival any goose fat or oil cooked potato!
